Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and execute compound shipment and distribution requests utilizing the Mosaic platform.
  • Receive and catalog compound samples from various sources, ensuring accurate labeling, sorting, and storage.
  • Conduct assay plating with automated liquid handling systems (TECAN and Echo).
  • Formulate Echo protocols to accommodate the increasing variety and intricacy of experimental procedures.
  • Maintain the laboratory environment dedicated to Compound Management.
  • Employ analytical tools such as HPLC, LC/MS, and NMR for compound analysis.
  • Facilitate effective communication within interdisciplinary project teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field.
  • 1-2 years of pertinent experience in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical context.
  • Expertise in compound sample preparation using automated liquid handlers (Echo and TECAN).
  • Meticulous record-keeping skills, with a strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Proficient problem-solving abilities, demonstrating sound, technology-driven decision-making.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with effective interpersonal abilities.
  • A collaborative team player capable of thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Familiarity with sample management informatics platforms (Mosaic) is advantageous.
  • Hands-on experience with Beckman Access Laboratory Workstation and protocol development is beneficial.
  • Prior experience with analytical instruments is a plus.
