Overview:
The primary role is to serve as the intermediary between the Laboratory Department and clients associated with the Catholic Health System's Laboratory Services, ensuring exceptional customer support.
Key Responsibilities:
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or equivalent
Associate's degree is preferred
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Minimum of two (2) years in a laboratory environment or customer service sector is preferred
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Demonstrated proficiency in communication skills - both written and verbal
Solid understanding of medical terminology
Familiarity with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and Health Information Systems (HIS), as well as proficiency in PC applications such as MS Word and Excel is preferred
Exemplary customer service abilities as evidenced by prior job roles and documented training
Capacity to manage multiple intricate issues under pressure while maintaining composure and organization
Proactive approach to customer care, anticipating needs and exceeding service expectations
Exhibited telephone etiquette skills
