Job Summary

Hendrickson Intl is seeking a skilled Production Associate to join our team in Heat Treat Operations. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating all heat treat operations in the department, ensuring high-quality products are produced efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reads work orders to determine material specifications and ensures accurate processing.
  • Positions work pieces against stops, activates machines, and observes operations to detect defects or malfunctions.
  • Identifies soft spots on cams and reports abnormal conditions to the lead person or supervisor.
  • Stamps parts, verifies stamps, and places good pieces in containers.
  • Assembles cams as needed and completes work orders correctly and legibly.
  • Follows written and oral work instructions, works well with supervision and co-workers, and is willing to run other machines as needed.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Physical demands include standing continuously for hours, working in tight places, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions
  • Exposure to a noisy work environment, hot and humid conditions, and coolants, oils, grease, and water.
  • Ear and eye protection required at all times in all production areas.
  • Steel toe boots with integrated metatarsal guards required in production areas.
