Production Operator III

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Operator III is responsible for ensuring that production lines have raw materials for operation, responsible for change overs, operation of process equipment, and related duties. They will maintain production records and ensure standard operating procedures are being followed. They will be required to comply with all regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements.
Responsibilities:- Conduct quality checks - weight and crimp width and depth
- Read and follow batch ticket and spec sheet
- Verify concentrate is correct against batch ticket
- In process adjustment to filler machine
- Line change over
- Will be required to follow safety and quality standards
- Fill out Quality paperwork for shift
- Keeps work area clean and orderly. Remove trash
- Set up and run label equipment
- Changeover of labels
- Responsible for inventory and upkeep of labels
- Daily maintenance of area and equipment
- Ability to read and follow spec sheet
- Will be required to follow safety and quality standards
- Quality - ensure proper labels are on correct cans
- Stage upcoming production runs
- Keeps work area clean and orderly. Remove trash
- At least 18 years of age
- High School Graduate or GED
- Demonstrated successful work experience
- Good hand eye coordination
- Must be able to work a rotating schedule, with weekend and holiday requirements.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associate's degree or higher a plus.
- Must have effective verbal and written English communication skills in order to read and follow spec sheet
- Ability to work well under minimal supervision
- Must read, write and understand the English language
- Attention to details, organization ability and ability to interact well with others.
- Must be able to operate basic hand tools
- Ability to work in a chemical manufacturing plant environment.
- Ability to execute strenuous, sometimes repetitive physical work such as climbing, lifting objects up to 50 lbs and pushing/pulling objects
