Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our residents maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate residents' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Design and implement occupational therapy programs to help residents develop, maintain, and recover their ability to perform daily tasks and activities.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for our residents.
  • Document resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education and training to residents and their families on occupational therapy techniques and strategies.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
  • Certification through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
