Job Description

At OneTrust, we're looking for a highly skilled Customer Success Architect to join our team. As a key member of our Privacy/GRC/Compliance product portfolio, you'll play a strategic role in ensuring the success of our customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer-facing privacy and security consulting, implementation, and advisory roles. You'll be responsible for establishing trusted advisor relationships with senior stakeholders, developing and presenting strategic application and architectural design documents, and leading strategic workshops to deliver high-level solution recommendations.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing Trusted Advisor status with senior business and technology leaders
  • Developing and presenting strategic application and architectural design documents
  • Leading strategic workshops and developing high-level solution recommendations
  • Delivering thought leadership through presentations, webinars, and learning events
  • Providing strategic subject matter expertise through advisory sessions, pre-sales support, and field assistance
  • Collaborating with external teams to align roadmaps and technical architectures with strategic business goals
  • Translating and implementing strategic needs into practical OneTrust technology-driven solutions
  • Proactively identifying and analyzing strategic issues/obstacles and recommending appropriate courses of action
  • Effectively presenting to both implementation teams and C-level executives, earning their trust
  • Advocating for customers by providing strategic insights to the Product organization on future release needs and challenges
  • Refining and improving internal processes and methodologies based on strategic customer feedback and evolving industry standards
  • Managing multiple strategic engagements simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful delivery
  • Engaging with customers to build long-term strategic relationships and ensure ongoing success
  • Mentoring less experienced team members and customers to enhance their strategic skills and understanding
  • Establishing structured feedback loops with customers to continuously improve OneTrust products and services

Requirements include:

  • Demonstrated ability in leadership, mentorship, and organizational behavior
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts, business models, regulations, and technologies
  • Strong aptitude for communicating complex business and technical concepts using visualization and modeling aids
  • Proven record of accomplishment of establishing trusted advisor relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrated expertise in customer-facing privacy and security consulting, implementation, and advisory roles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation abilities
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, multitask, and perform effectively under pressure
  • Familiarity with privacy, ethics, security, compliance, or sustainability concepts, standards, processes, and issues
  • In-depth knowledge of OneTrust products and their application in managing business operations
  • Experience with cloud architecture, multi-tenancy, and multi-tiered infrastructure
  • Technical skills in cloud architecture, containerization, scripting, and database management
  • Experience with large-scale, technologically complex accounts
  • Understanding of public cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPP/US, CIPT, FIP, GRCP, GRCA, CRISC, or CTPRP

Preferred qualifications include:

  • BA/BS in a related subject is required
  • 4-6+ years in a role within software consulting or related experience
  • Effective communication skills. Proven success in and genuine enthusiasm for working with technical teams
  • Proven ability to engage across corporate functions (Professional Services, Engineering, Sales and Product Management)
  • Practical experience in troubleshooting software and web services
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to chair meetings or host webinars
  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
  • Strong entrepreneurial skills to excel in a complex and rapidly evolving environment
  • Experience within the Technology/SaaS industry
  • Experience in using software for reporting and task management such as Salesforce preferred
