Position: Registered Nurse - Union Emergency Department - Part Time Midnights

The emergency departments within ChristianaCare's network, including Christiana Hospital, Wilmington Hospital, and Union Hospital, provide care to over 225,000 patients annually. Our medical professionals are among the most skilled in emergency care in the region. The Union Hospital Emergency Department features 27 beds and serves the community of Cecil County, Maryland.

The Union Hospital Emergency Department is looking for dedicated nurses who excel in a dynamic environment and possess a strong desire for continuous learning. Our nursing staff collaborates closely with healthcare providers to ensure the highest standards of care and patient safety.

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in Maryland or a compact state.
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of nursing experience is required, with a preference for acute care experience.
  • BLS certification is mandatory.
  • ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred and must be obtained within one year of employment.
  • CEN certification is preferred.

Work Schedule: This position requires a commitment of 48 hours per week on the midnight shift from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
