Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the guidance of Food and Beverage Management, the role involves serving food and processing payments for Guests.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Welcoming Guests in a friendly manner
• Taking food and beverage orders
• Preparing and serving food and drinks
• Delivering orders to Guests throughout the Casino and Bingo Hall
• Handling cashier duties
• Maintaining stock levels in the concession area
• Fostering positive relationships with Guests and colleagues
• Performing additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
• Strong customer service abilities
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to navigate the concession area and remain on feet for extended periods
• Capability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform limited bending and reaching

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Exposure to casino-related environmental factors, including secondhand smoke, noise, and interaction with the public.
• Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands for various tasks; the employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
• The characteristics of the work environment reflect the fast-paced and often crowded nature of the Casino.

CLOSING:

Seminole Gaming prioritizes Native American applicants in all employment practices. Preference is given to members of the Seminole Tribe, followed by members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet job qualifications.

As part of the hiring process, final candidates will undergo a background check for gaming licensure, which may include credit checks, criminal background checks, and drug screenings.
