Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Gastroenterologist to provide exceptional clinical care in the field of Gastroenterology and Inflammatory Bowel Diseases. The ideal candidate will be responsible for educating Residents, Fellows, and Medical Students, ensuring a comprehensive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer mentorship and support to nurse practitioners while supervising medical students and residents.
- Adapt work schedules and assignments to accommodate the dynamic nature of patient care and healthcare agency requirements.
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to both inpatient and outpatient populations, focusing on adults aged 18-65 and seniors aged 65 and above.
- Exhibit strong decision-making abilities in both clinical and administrative settings.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals and medical center staff to enhance patient care delivery.
- Conduct systematic evaluations of patient care programs across various medical settings.
- Ensure timely completion of all medical documentation and trainee supervision attestations in the electronic medical record.
Work Environment:
This position operates with a degree of autonomy while remaining accountable to the Chief of Medical Service or designated Section Chief.
