Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist to gather relevant patient information and implement tailored rehabilitation programs utilizing diverse techniques and therapeutic activities.
  • Monitor patient conditions and ensure adherence to safety protocols regarding injuries and diagnoses.
  • Assist patients in preparing for various treatment modalities as required.
  • Deliver treatment to a wide range of diagnostic groups while maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies and state regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with support staff regarding treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Administer physical agents, therapeutic exercises, or gait-training activities as specified in the patient's plan of care, adjusting progress as necessary under the guidance of the Physical Therapist.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the rehabilitation process.
Qualifications:
  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Experience in patient care is preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
