Job Title: Patient Care Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at MAX Surgical Specialty Management. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and have a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families
  • Manage patient flow through the registration process
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate individual
  • Collect payments and reconcile billing slips
  • Update patient information and schedule appointments
  • Communicate effectively with the Office Supervisor/Manager
  • Perform various clerical duties

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required, A.S. Degree in healthcare/related field preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of electronic medical records
  • Adeptness in the Healthcare Industry
  • Expertise in answering inbound calls
  • Ability to prioritize workload and perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent phone etiquette and ability to establish rapport with diverse clientele
  • 1+ year of experience as a Medical Receptionist
