Job Summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled HVAC Chiller Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for executing contract maintenance visits, inspections, site assessments, and service requests to ensure the optimal performance of our customers' equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute contract maintenance visits, inspections, and site assessments to identify and recommend necessary upgrades or repairs to prolong equipment life cycle.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment and systems at customer locations, following blueprints or engineering specifications.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance plans to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and improve overall maintenance efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC maintenance, repair, or installation.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including chiller systems, and ability to diagnose complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
