Job Summary

Medical Solutions is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist for a travel position in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

This is a 13-week assignment with 36 hours of work per week, offering a unique opportunity to explore a new location while continuing to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform imaging procedures at a technical level, ensuring high-quality results and patient safety.
  • Meet the qualifications to provide care for patients in the specific age range on their assigned clinical area.
  • Provide protection to patients and personnel in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
  • Prepare and position patients for Magnetic Resonance procedure, thoroughly explaining the exam and answering patients' questions.
  • Perform Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures, including neuro, body, and extremity, following protocols set by a Radiologist.
  • Enter necessary data into Radiology Imaging System, IDX Imaging Suite, and Picture Archive Communication System Image Management Systems.
  • Process images as necessary, identifying anatomy on images.
  • Perform quality control tests of equipment, reporting any irregularities.
  • Notify Team Leader and appropriate maintenance personnel of equipment malfunctions.
  • Share responsibilities for ordering supplies, notifying appropriate personnel of supply levels.
  • Act as a Radiology liaison, providing radiological support to physicians as requested, referring problems to Team Leader.
Requirements
  • Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Radiologic Technology.
  • Certification(s) and License(s): Basic Life Support Certification, Certified MRI Technologist, Certified Radiology Technologist.
