Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Senior Program Analyst (Cost) to support our customer, Project Manager Intelligence Systems & Analytics (PM IS&A), at APG, MD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive cost estimating, analysis, and research to identify areas of improvement and optimize program performance.
  • Develop and implement novel approaches to complex problems using advanced techniques and tools.
  • Provide cost analysis and forecasting to inform program decision-making and secure funding.
  • Align cost element breakdowns and perform base year and year cost forecasts to ensure accurate budgeting.
  • Support system engineering, program management, risk management, and process-based methodology with life cycle cost analysis, metrics management, cost benefit analysis, and acquisition.
  • Collaborate with Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army – Cost and Economics office on program cost estimating.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Program Management, Engineering, or related field with at least 12 years of experience managing government programs or 16 years of relevant experience.
  • 5 years of direct experience with verbal and written communication, including presentations and briefings to product managers, division chiefs, or equivalent grade.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance; US Citizenship is required.
  • Detailed-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Direct experience with the DoD 5000 series regulations and in-depth knowledge to apply a wide range of analytical measurement skills.
  • Government program management experience, including budgeting, scheduling, trade-off analysis, lifecycle costing, risk management, supportability, test and evaluation, and requirements development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar field.

  • Ability to be independently mobile.
  • Withstand prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and computer use.
  • Climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands.
