About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to lead our high-end residential projects in New York City. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the construction process, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to achieve design intent and resolve constructability challenges.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, including critical path management and resource allocation.
  • Conduct daily site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage and supervise a team of skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Prepare and submit project reports, including progress updates, budget variances, and quality control issues.
Requirements
  • 15 years of experience as a Superintendent, with at least 5 years in high-end residential construction.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects, including high-end residential developments.
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and building codes.
  • Journeyman-level carpentry skills or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Project.
  • Experience with Sage 300 CRE is a plus, but not required.
  • U.S. work authorization and active NYC DOB Construction Superintendent Registration.
