At Planet Fitness, we're seeking a highly skilled Fitness Operations Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for assisting in the oversight of gym operations to ensure an exceptional member experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring staff follows superior customer service guidelines.
  • Provide backup support to the Club Manager as needed and assist with staff management.
  • Oversee member service, ensuring staff provides a superior customer experience at all times.
  • Assist in resolving or escalating employee issues or concerns.
  • Facilitate all member requests, issues, and questions, including new member sign-ups and tours.
  • Assist in overseeing cleanliness and maintenance of the facility.
  • Backup support for any employee who is absent.

Requirements
  • Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry.
  • Prior experience working as a Member Service Representative at Planet Fitness.
  • Solid supervisory, diplomacy, and listening skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
  • Hard working, enthusiastic, and energetic.
  • Strong problem resolution skills.
  • Current CPR Certification required.
  • High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
