Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Experience Specialist to join our team at Michaels. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, managing front-end operations, and maintaining store recovery standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver customer-centric shopping experiences by managing and executing effective front-end operations and expectations.
  • Maintain store recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises.
  • Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
  • Ensure execution of Company policies and standards, and compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
  • Manage and execute shrink and safety programs.
  • Assist with cash reconciliation and bank deposits.
  • Participate in the performance management process and support Talent Development of your team.
  • Train, observe, and coach the customer experience team to achieve results.
  • Manage and execute the shrink and safety programs.
  • Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production.
Requirements
  • Retail management experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings.
