We are seeking an Optometrist Pre-Grad Intern to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our optical care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain measurements, verify, determine, and dispense prescriptions to customers
- Counsel, consult with, and educate customers on eye care and vision health
- Assist with eyewear selection and maintain confidential customer information
- Provide optical clinical care, diagnosing customers to manage treatment of visual problems and ocular disease
- Communicate with key stakeholders to increase understanding of optometric standards
- Maintain the optical area in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Stock and rotate merchandise, remove damaged items, and arrange product displays
- Receive and stock merchandise/supplies from distribution centers and suppliers
- Sell optical products and services, assisting customers with purchasing decisions and completing eyewear/contact lens orders
- Enrolled in an accredited Optometry school
As a Walmart associate, you will receive competitive pay, performance-based bonus awards, and a range of benefits, including:
