About the Role

We are seeking a skilled School Bus Driver to join our team at First Student. As a key member of our transportation team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
  • Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus, providing a safe and supportive environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other drivers and transportation staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Subject to a drug screen and physical.
What We Offer
  • $24.00/hour based on experience* - $28.00 per hour after one year.
  • $1000 sign on bonus for fully licensed*.
  • $500 sign on bonus for non-licensed once license is obtained*.
