The goal of this role is to deliver ultra-high-performance code - our target is to process many millions of packets per second on embedded CPU cores. This requires both implementing highly optimized data structures and low-level tuning to our hardware.

**Job Responsibilities**

  • Innovate and deliver creative software designs to develop new services, solve operational problems, drive improvements in developer velocity, or positively impact operational safety
  • Write requirements capturing documents, design documents, integration test plans, and deployment plans
  • Communicate status and progress of deliverables to schedule, and share learnings/innovations with your team and stakeholders

**Requirements and Qualifications**

  • Currently enrolled in, or completed a Bachelor's degree program or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
  • Programming experience in internship or coursework in C or C++
  • Candidates with coursework and/or experience in at least two of the following areas: Networking fundamentals, Virtualization, Linux Operating Systems, Distributed Systems/System Development, Knowledge of TCP/IP

**Compensation and Benefits**

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $99,500/year to $200,000/year depending on location. In addition to base pay, we provide equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation as part of a total compensation package. We also offer a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
