Position Overview
This full-time, on-site position is for a Food Production Equipment Maintenance Apprentice. The apprentice will collaborate with seasoned maintenance professionals to acquire the necessary skills for maintaining and repairing machinery within a food manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for individuals eager to embark on a career in industrial maintenance, particularly in food production settings. The apprentice will gain practical experience with various equipment, electrical systems, and preventive maintenance techniques, ensuring the plant operates smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the upkeep and repair of production machinery, including conveyors, mixers, and packaging equipment.
- Engage in scheduled preventive maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Learn to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues with plant machinery.
- Support the installation and setup of new equipment under the guidance of experienced maintenance personnel.
- Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and uphold product quality.
