Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain patient clinical history and lab work, ensuring accurate documentation for licensed practitioners.
  • Position and immobilize patients to demonstrate anatomical areas of interest, respecting patient comfort and ability.
  • Apply radiation protection principles to minimize exposure to patients, self, and others.
  • Perform radiographic procedures using imaging equipment and accessories, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Verify informed consent and complete pre and post-procedure documentation.
  • Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized radiography procedures, applying aseptic surgical techniques as needed.
Requirements
  • Associates degree from an ARRT-accredited institute (preferred).
  • Certification and Registration with ARRT (required).
  • State licensure (preferred, unless required by the state where the job is being performed).
  • BLS Basic Life Support – American Heart Association (required).
  • 1 year experience in radiation safety and patient care (preferred).
  • Experience with Radiology Information System (preferred).
