We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Valor Healthcare. As a key member of our Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC), you will play a vital role in providing quality healthcare to America's veterans.
Key Responsibilities- Assist practitioners with patient care, physical examinations, and ancillary tests.
- Practice specialized skills in patient assessment and triage unscheduled patients requesting care.
- Act as a point person within the PACT Team and assist in co-managed care collaboration with non-VA providers and facilities.
- Provide patient and family health education with a focus on self-management, prevention, and wellness.
- Maintain confidentiality of veterans' data and information, and comply with all VA and company training requirements.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Associate Degree RN may be considered if VA contract allows.
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a registered nurse in a related primary care or ambulatory care setting; government healthcare environment preferred.
- Credentialed and in good standing through the Veterans Health Administration (VA).
- Valid, unrestricted license in the state of desired employment, or in any U.S. state or territory, depending on VA contractual requirements.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support and ACLS as specified by individual VAMC contract.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, and strong computer skills, including EMR experience.
