We are seeking a part-time television studio technician to collaborate with our Communications and Digital Media students at Passaic County Community College.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the TV studio and organize multi-camera studio productions.
• Set up and maintain TV studio equipment for class lectures.
• Support students with technical skills and practical assistance in their Digital Media and Distribution courses.
• Assist in managing the department TV studio, digital media classroom, and other facilities.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Communications or a related field is required.
• Five years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in TV studio, control room, and production equipment, including cameras, sound and lighting equipment, graphics, and lighting boards.
• Proficiency in Studio Switchers, Final Cut Pro, Premier, and DaVinci video editing software.
• Proficiency in studio graphics and sound software, as well as streaming live events and building and maintaining podcast studios.
