Job Summary

As a Clinical Research Assistant at Northwell Health, you will play a vital role in supporting the research program by participating in research activities, assisting the research team, and collaborating with various departments. Your responsibilities will include participating in research activities, assisting in identifying potential candidates for research protocols, preparing research documents, and retrieving academic/research articles from the library.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in research activities and assist the research team in identifying potential candidates for research protocols.
  • Prepare research documents, including preparation of research documents and coordination with the Medical Records and auxiliary departments.
  • Retrieve academic/research articles from the library and maintain organized filing of documents.
  • Liaise between the department and other Institutional staff as necessary.
  • Support staff in preparing for academic/research meetings and presentations, including coordination with other departments.
  • Assist in the drafting of research proposals and facilitate mass mailing of research documents/letters as appropriate.
  • Perform literature searches as necessary and act as a liaison between researchers and the medical library personnel.
  • Interface and collaborate with members of the healthcare team and interact with departments and staff.
Qualifications

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
