Key Responsibilities- Examine customer vehicles to identify necessary repairs and maintenance
- Estimate the cost of repairs and communicate with customers
- Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance in a timely and efficient manner
- Document services performed and maintain accurate records
- Follow dealership and manufacturer service guidelines
- Request necessary parts and maintain a safe and organized work area
- Maintain CSI at or above Company standards
- Participate in required training and development programs
- Record all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system
- Follow Safeguards rules and regulations
- Demonstrate the Company's Core Values
- Comply with Company policies and procedures
- Thorough knowledge of automotive parts and systems
- Demonstrable mechanical skills and knowledge
- Technical training or commensurate technical experience required
- Valid Driver's License
- Basic Computer skills to utilize timekeeping system
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel
The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays. Duties are performed primarily in the service area. Work includes movement around vehicles, working in various physical positions, and the safe operation of power tools and test equipment. May be exposed to loud noise, vibration, exhaust fumes, and other service and repair conditions.
