Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell and serve food and beverages safely and efficiently
  • Process guest bills and payments accurately
  • Impress guests with quality and timely service in a pleasant and friendly manner
  • Set up tables and ensure cleanliness of linen, silverware, and glassware
  • Clean tables, including removal of soiled wares and trash
  • Know the menu and be able to explain major ingredients and preparation methods
  • Report all tips in compliance with company policy and IRS regulations
  • Prepare station prior to opening, keep station neat and clean while serving guests, and clean station at end of shift

Requirements:

  • Professional and positive attitude towards guests, vendors, and associates
  • Knowledgeable of hotel facilities and services to assist guests as appropriate
  • History of friendly guest/customer service
  • Process checks and payments in compliance with policies and procedures
  • Effective listening and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs
  • High school education or related experience
