Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Breakfast Host to join our team at AC Atlanta Perimeter. As a Breakfast Host, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests during breakfast hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet and Greet: Greet guests as they arrive and thank them as they depart.
  • Direct Guests: Direct guests through the breakfast bar as needed.
  • Cleanliness: Clean and maintain the breakfast station and restock items as necessary.
  • Teamwork: Assist our teams when needed and live our "ONE TEAM. ONE VISION." philosophy.
  • Innovation: Provide innovative ways to promote and engage in internal growth programs.
  • Customer Service: Provide personalized, friendly service to each and every guest.
  • Inventory Management: Keep an ongoing inventory of all food items and supplies needed.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare food items for service at breakfast according to occupancy.
  • Housekeeping: Clear and clean tables as they are vacated during breakfast hours.
  • Accidents: React immediately and appropriately to all spills and accidents in the breakfast area.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Wash all serving equipment and store appropriately each day.
  • Pantry Maintenance: Keep the pantry and breakfast storage area clean, safe, and sanitary.
  • General Maintenance: Wipe down tables/chairs, dust fixtures/windowsills/baseboards, empty trash, and mop/vacuum.
Requirements
  • Confidentiality: Keep confidential the business functions of the company, including financial status, customer/guest information, and associate issues.
  • Safety and Security: Be responsible for the safety and security of guests, fellow associates, and hotel assets.
  • Knowledge: Have knowledge of the fire alarm system and evacuation procedures.
  • Transportation: Have dependable transportation available.
  • Communication: Be able to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and in person.
  • Schedule: Be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Personality: Be organized, honest, work well with others, and have an outgoing personality.
  • Integrity: Have the highest degree of integrity and be humble, living by the Golden Rule.
  • Cultural Competence: Be able to work with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to bend, reach, kneel, push, and stretch, and lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Vision: Have eyesight enabling vision both near and far.
  • Heat and Stress: Be comfortable working in a hot environment and handling stress.
  • Equipment Operation: Be able to use and lift arms for up to 8 hours.
  • Language: Be able to speak in a clear, understandable voice, hear at a basic level, and understand English.
  • Writing: Be able to write.
