Plant Maintenance Manager

Vulcan Materials Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the maintenance functions and personnel at our facility in Texas-Hondo.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance Management: Oversee the maintenance of our plant's equipment and facilities, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
2. Team Leadership: Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities to maintenance personnel, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
3. Operational Coordination: Collaborate with operations, central services, and engineering teams to ensure seamless maintenance and repair activities.
4. Financial Management: Analyze and manage department budgets, identifying areas for cost reduction and process improvement.

Requirements:

Experience: Proven track record of managing maintenance teams and supervising personnel in a similar industry.

Leadership and Management Skills: Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.

Operational Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of rock crushing equipment, MSHA regulations, and engineering principles.

Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

Financial Knowledge: Ability to analyze and manage budgets, identifying areas for cost reduction and process improvement.

Working Conditions: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions and loud noises.
