**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to join our team at James Hardie's Dallas-based manufacturing facility. As a key member of our operations leadership team, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing plant maintenance functions to ensure optimal equipment availability and efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve equipment performance and availability
  • Lead the annual development of the maintenance budget and manage ongoing spending
  • Provide leadership to the plant maintenance engineer, planner, and storeroom personnel
  • Maintain close contact with the Production Manager to ensure maintenance activities occur with minimal disruption to production operations
  • Identify root causes of electrical and mechanical downtime incidents

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance management in a continuous operating manufacturing environment
  • Experience with computer maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
