Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat a range of pediatric eye conditions, from common issues to complex cases.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and develop treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in pediatric ophthalmology.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree.
  • Completion of a pediatric ophthalmology residency program.
  • Board certification or eligibility in pediatric ophthalmology.
  • A South Carolina medical license and DEA registration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
