About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team at Ascension Saint Agnes in Baltimore, Maryland. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Perform and document pre-anesthetic assessments and evaluations of patients.
  • Develop and implement anesthetic plans of care, including monitoring modalities and post-anesthesia follow-up evaluations and care.
  • Select, obtain, and administer anesthetic plans of care, including induction, maintenance, and emergence phase anesthesia.
  • Recognize alterations in physiologic responses to surgical procedures and/or anesthesia, take appropriate action, and notify responsible physicians as indicated.

Requirements
  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Nurse Anesthetist credentialed from the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
