Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and gather necessary data for journal entries.
  • Examine, investigate, and rectify discrepancies in financial entries, documents, and reports, implementing corrections as required.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts efficiently.
  • Support the year-end financial audit by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Ensure adherence to generally accepted accounting principles and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA is preferred.
  • Previous accounting experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
  • Familiarity with Excel, Access, or SQL is preferred.
