We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team at VMC St Lucie. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Restrain pets in a safe and low-stress manner
- Collect and analyze lab samples, including blood, urine, fecal, and skin samples
- Assist with diagnostic imaging, including radiographs and dental radiographs
- Provide nursing care for medical and hospitalized cases
- Administer medications and communicate treatment plans with clients
- Participate in surgical preparation and assistance, as well as anesthetic management
- 1+ year experience in ER preferred, CVT preferred but not required
- High work ethic and positive attitude team member
- Ability to arrive on-time and ready to work
- Weekend availability
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to communicate precisely
- Knowledge in preventative care, surgical procedures, and hospital flow
