We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Ocean Systems Engineer to join our team at Career Servant LLC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in the development of cutting-edge sonar and communication systems for autonomous underwater vehicles, undersea systems, and various marine applications.

Salary and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary of $150,000 - $200,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with comprehensive health insurance options, a retirement savings plan, flexible working hours, and opportunities for professional development and continued education.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative maritime systems (50%), leading project initiatives and teams (25%), and engaging in proposal writing, marketing, and new business captures (25%).

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a BS, MS, or PhD in electrical, ocean, or mechanical engineering, acoustics, or a related field, as well as several years of experience in developing and/or designing sonar and/or communication systems. You will also need to have experience with project leadership in R&D for DARPA, ONR, NAVSEA, or similar DoD customers, as well as a proven track record of exceptional communication and leadership skills.
