Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Massachusetts General Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' heads and bodies for diagnostic and interventional purposes.
  • Assist patients onto the scanner, verify their identification, and enter patient information into the system.
  • Ensure that patient files are archived properly and that images are transmitted to the Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, and adhere to proper hand hygiene requirements.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to ensure that exams are conducted according to protocol and that images are of high quality.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT.
  • Advanced CT registration required.
  • CPR certification required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • IV skills preferred.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Knowledge of the principles of radiation physics and radiographic positioning.
