About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Social Worker to join our team at Duke University Health System. As a Clinical Social Worker, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychosocial assessments, diagnosis, and treatment to patients and families.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans using evidence-based clinical social work practices.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide training and education on mental health and substance abuse issues.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams and provide leadership in representing clinical social work perspectives.
  • Contribute to the academic mission of the medical center and health system by participating in academic activities such as committees, conferences, publications, teaching, and research.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work from an accredited school of social work.
  • Current licensure as a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) by the NC Social Work Certification and Licensure Board.
  • Two years of post-graduate experience in a healthcare setting or social service agency.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
