Job OverviewSystems Integration Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in all stages of project development, from initial proposal crafting to successful design, qualification, integration testing, flight testing, and production.
  • Develop system architecture and schematic diagrams.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers from various disciplines, including electrical power, flight controls, propulsion, airframe structures, rotors, fuel systems, hydraulics, and drive systems.
  • Identify and resolve hardware/software integration challenges as they emerge.
  • Draft system performance specifications, interface control documents, and comprehensive test plans/procedures.
  • Establish test requirements to guide systems integration lab and flight test aircraft instrumentation design.
  • Conduct hardware and software integration testing of multiple systems operating in a systems integration lab environment.
  • Facilitate coordination among engineering teams, suppliers, and clients.

Qualifications:
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret Clearance.
  • All experience levels will be considered; positions will be offered based on the candidate's experience.
  • Background in military platform avionics and mission system integration is preferred.
  • Experience in test development and execution is essential.
  • Familiarity with UAS waveform specifications (MIL-STD, STANAG-4586, CDL, etc.) is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in developing customer deliverables, including data flow models and system design documentation (CAMEO).
Preferred Experience:
  • Knowledge of Autonomous and Advanced Teaming, Manned-Unmanned Teaming (MUM-T), Targeting, Weapons, and EO/IR Sensors.
  • Experience with Modular Open Systems Architectures, Model-Based Systems Engineering, and Open Standards (e.g., Future Avionics Capability Environment (FACE)).
  • Demonstrated engineering intuition, critical thinking, and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are necessary, as this role involves collaboration with a diverse team of professionals, clients, and suppliers.
  • Able to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams to define cross-functional interfaces and conduct air vehicle level trade studies as designs progress from concept to production.
Educational Background:
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a STEM discipline is required, with a preference for majors in Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering.
