Unit Manager RN Job Opportunity

Washington Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the role of Unit Manager in our Sub Acute Unit. As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the unit, ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents, and mentoring less experienced nurses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the nursing staff on the unit
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality care
  • Mentor and support less experienced nurses to enhance their clinical and leadership skills
  • Monitor and review resident records and quality of care to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Represent the unit's interests with upper-level management and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • Valid State RN License
  • 3 years of Long Term Care experience preferred
  • 2 years of Charge Nurse experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills and excellent communication skills
