Esposito Construction is actively engaged in significant sitework projects across New Jersey. We are in search of a skilled Pipe Foreman to lead our team in achieving high productivity and adherence to construction standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team responsible for the installation of underground utilities, including water mains, fire mains, sewer systems, and storm drainage.
  • Implement pipe installation tasks according to project specifications and directives from the Project Manager.
  • Manage daily operations on-site while effectively leading the pipe crew.
  • Understand and adhere to the production schedule.
  • Plan daily activities based on the project’s four-week outlook and execute accordingly.
  • Train crew members in essential job functions related to pipe installation.
  • Identify, report, and rectify safety hazards on-site.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficient in construction mathematics and slope calculations.
  • Ability to set up and utilize pipe lasers and builder's levels effectively.
  • Knowledge of safe rigging and hoisting practices.
  • Familiarity with PSCC and OSHA regulations, particularly safe trenching protocols.
  • Understanding of optimal moisture levels, density, and compaction standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, including pipe restraint joint charts.
  • Expertise in various pipe joining techniques, including push joints, MJ, restrained joints, TR Flex, and flanged connections.
  • Experience in operating heavy machinery.
