Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed specifications for project assignments, ensuring alignment with client performance criteria and design codes.
  • Conduct engineering calculations and develop analytical models for moderately complex projects.
  • Review vendor drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to foster collaboration.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring completion within set parameters.
  • Adhere to company quality standards and follow established engineering approval processes.
  • Comply with health, safety, security, and environmental regulations.
  • Participate in hazard identification programs and report any unsafe conditions.
  • Collaborate with the drafting/design team to create and review engineering drawings.
  • Conduct site evaluations to assess project requirements and conditions.
  • Inspect vendor facilities to ensure equipment meets specifications.
  • Prepare requisitions and bid tabulations for equipment procurement.
  • Perform checks on engineering drawings and calculations.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities while adhering to safe design practices.
  • Oversee project resources and workload, seeking assistance when necessary.
  • Serve as Engineer in Responsible Charge as required, ensuring compliance with PE sealing regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in team collaboration and effective communication.
  • Ability to organize and direct projects to successful completion.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) License is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Midstream facilities and pipelines is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with STADD, SACS, MAT 3D, and Foundation software is preferred.
  • Knowledge of structural design codes such as AISC, ACI, API, and IBC is beneficial.
