Host Healthcare is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to fill a travel job opportunity in Upland, California.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team as a travel healthcare professional. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the administration of radioactive materials and the operation of nuclear medicine equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Administer radioactive materials to patients for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes
  • Operate nuclear medicine equipment, such as gamma cameras and positron emission tomography (PET) scanners
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
  • Develop and implement procedures for the safe handling and disposal of radioactive materials
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed
