Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the administration of radioactive materials and the operation of nuclear medicine equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Administer radioactive materials to patients for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes
  • Operate nuclear medicine equipment, such as gamma cameras and positron emission tomography (PET) scanners
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
  • Develop and implement procedures for the safe handling and disposal of radioactive materials
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient patient care
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a nuclear medicine setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed
