As a skilled Perinatal Nurse Specialist with UCHealth, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care in women's and infants' services. Your expertise will be sought after by our dynamic team as we strive to deliver top-notch care to our patients.

 

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Regional Float Pool for Mother/Baby and Labor and Delivery units. This is a full-time position that requires strong teamwork, patient wellness, evidence-based practice, and professional development within a fast-paced clinical environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes.
  • Prioritize patient safety and quality at the point of care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient transitions and optimal care delivery.
  • Model proficiency through precepting new staff members and sharing knowledge in a dynamic clinical environment.
  • Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care.

 

Requirements:

  • A valid RN license in the state of Colorado.
  • Previous experience in women and infants nursing, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • BLS certification upon hire; NRP certification within six months of employment.
