About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a seasoned QA Engineer with a background in electronic or equities trading space. You will be responsible for identifying bugs and defects in our platform, collaborating with the development team to resolve issues, and ensuring that our platform meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute test plans and scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our platform
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve defects and issues
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the development team on testing and quality assurance best practices
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our testing and quality assurance processes
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 10-15 years of experience as a QA Engineer in the financial services industry
- Background in electronic or equities trading space
- Extensive experience with Financial Information Exchange (FIX) protocol
- Ability to identify bugs and communicate with development team to resolve them
- Experience utilizing Cucumber in testing
- Fluent in Unix and ability to write code in Java
