Job Title: Low Voltage Technician/Cable Technician

Responsive Technology Partners Inc. is seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician/Cable Technician to join our team in Roanoke, VA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, terminating, and testing structured cabling systems, including CAT5e and CAT6 cable.

Company Culture

We pride ourselves on creating a team culture where everyone is valued and able to make a difference. Our business hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. While occasional after-hours calls may occur, they are not a regular occurrence.

Job Requirements
  • Must be self-motivated, positive in approach, and have a professional demeanor.
  • Must promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients, and business partners.
  • Must have proven skill level or the ability to learn to interpret blueprints and other project documents.
  • Must be able to work at heights, off a ladder, and in confined spaces, lift up to 50 pounds, and move up to 75 pounds.
  • Must be able to see and distinguish different colors and read small print.
  • Must be able to travel within the branch territory and/or regional territory as needed.
  • Must have and maintain a valid Virginia driver's license.
  • Must pass a background check and drug test.
