Key Responsibilities:
As a Shipping & Receiving Associate, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing all aspects of shipping and receiving, including the picking, packing, and loading/unloading of shipments.
2. Maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring all transactions are documented correctly.
3. Inspecting incoming and outgoing shipments for quality and quantity, addressing any discrepancies or damages.
4. Collaborating with suppliers, carriers, and customers to resolve shipping and receiving challenges.
5. Adhering to safety and regulatory standards in all shipping and receiving tasks.
6. Safely operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
7. Engaging in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize shipping and receiving processes.

Qualifications:
To qualify for the Shipping & Receiving Associate position, candidates should possess:

1. At least 5 years of experience in shipping and receiving, ideally within the manufacturing sector.
2. Proficiency in shipping software and related computer applications.
3. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks in a dynamic environment.
4. Exceptional attention to detail, with a knack for promptly identifying and resolving issues.
5. Comprehensive knowledge of shipping and receiving protocols and regulations.
6. Capability to operate material handling equipment safely and effectively.
7. Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with team members and external partners.
8. Physical endurance and the ability to lift heavy items.
9. A high school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in logistics or a related field are advantageous.
