Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate Radiation Specialist to join our oncology department. Your primary focus will be on the meticulous planning and administration of radiotherapy treatments.
Success in this role requires close collaboration with patients, ensuring their needs are met, addressing inquiries, and delivering exceptional medical care throughout their treatment journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and immobilize patients according to treatment plans and directives from Radiation Oncologists.
- Administer radiation treatments in alignment with prescribed protocols.
- Set up treatment rooms and educate patients about procedures.
- Maintain and update patient records accurately.
- Fulfill continuing education requirements to stay current in the field.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited radiography program.
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry.
- Active state license as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist.
