The Pharmacy Manager Emerging Leader program is a comprehensive development program designed to equip pharmacists with the leadership skills and knowledge required to excel in a Pharmacy Manager role. Through a combination of self-paced learning, key learning experiences, and mentorship, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the critical behaviors needed to be a successful Pharmacy Manager.

As a participant in this program, you'll have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills, broaden your capabilities, and understand the meaningful role pharmacy leaders play in developing their teams and delivering results. You'll also have the chance to apply your learning and develop skills through real-world assignments and training opportunities.

Key qualifications for this role include a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree, 1+ years of experience as a Staff Pharmacist with CVS Health or equivalent retail pharmacy experience, and a willingness to consider and accept a promotion into a Pharmacy Manager position if offered. Requirements:

  • Currently works full-time (30+ hours per week)
  • All current role required training 100% completed
  • Meets Expectations or higher rating on last performance review
  • Moderate or Strong Pharmacy Manager assessment (Virtual Job Tryout) score
  • Not currently on a level three warning or performance improvement plan within last year
  • Willingness to consider and accept a promotion into a Pharmacy Manager position if offered

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years experience as a Staff Pharmacist with CVS Health or equivalent retail pharmacy experience
  • Ability to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy locations in other Districts within the Region

Pay Range:

The typical pay range for this role is: $73.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.

The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
