Asset Protection Specialist

As an Asset Protection Associate at Walmart, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our associates, customers, and merchandise. Your investigative skills and critical thinking abilities will be essential in solving complex problems and preventing losses. You will work closely with our team to identify and address potential security risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them. This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly wage of $18-$27 per hour, plus additional compensation in the form of performance incentives and premiums. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, vision, and dental coverage, as well as paid time off and education assistance through our Live Better U program. Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and analyze security incidents to identify root causes and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences
- Work closely with our team to identify and address potential security risks
- Develop and implement security protocols to ensure the safety and security of our associates, customers, and merchandise
- Collaborate with law enforcement and other external agencies as needed
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries and concerns
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a security or law enforcement role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
